The West Michigan Asian American Association (WMAAA) Scholarship Program supports West Michigan students of Asian descent who are pursuing academic, vocational, or personal development goals. The program recognizes achievement, leadership, service, and a commitment to lifelong learning, and aims to empower students to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond. 

WMAAA Innovation Scholarship 

Recognizes students who think creatively and aren’t afraid to try new ideas. If you lead projects at school, in clubs, or in your community and use innovation and teamwork to create positive change, this scholarship recognizes your creativity and leadership.

WMAAA Impact Scholarship 

Honors students who speak up for their community and take action to support others. If you are involved in cultural groups, volunteer work, or activities that promote inclusion and understanding, this scholarship recognizes your leadership and commitment to making a positive difference.

WMAAA Achievers Scholarship

Supports students who are committed to learning and growing. Whether you plan to attend college, a trade or vocational program, or are building skills through hands-on or creative learning, this scholarship recognizes your effort to keep learning, improve yourself, and prepare for your future.

WMAAA 

Champion Scholarship

Recognizes students actively involved with WMAAA and committed to our mission and values. If you have participated in WMAAA events and plan to stay connected and give back as you move into your future, this scholarship recognizes your leadership, commitment, and service to the community.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

● Be a West Michigan student of Asian descent

● Be currently enrolled or enrolling in senior high school, college, university, or a vocational/trade program

● Meet the specific criteria of the scholarship category that you are applying for
